Kanu speaks on Super Eagles coach and squad
Kanu thinks that with so much quality on the national team, coaching the Super Eagles is a fantastic opportunity for any manager.
In a recent interview with Brila, Kanu highlighted the abundance of skill in the Super Eagles team while expressing his displeasure with the current coaching position.
He revealed, “Whoever coaches Nigeria is blessed. We are blessed with players; with superstars.
“The main thing is to put them together,” he continued. “It doesn’t matter who is in charge; foreign or local coach, they are blessed to manage any Nigerian team.
“When you have a team with 40 good players, what more could a coach ask for? You have 11 players on the pitch, another 11 on the bench who want to play, you are blessed with that.”
Kanu maintained that any manager, domestic or international, has all the tools necessary to lead Nigeria's national team to success.
Meanwhile, Nwankwo Kano has told Super Eagles players they must give the national team double their output for the various club sides.
