Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has shared his thoughts on the Premier League title race after the Blues' defeat to Fulham on Boxing Day.
Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Fulham on Boxing Day, falling further behind Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title.
The Blues are now 7 points behind Arne Slot's men, who came from behind to defeat Leicester 3-1 on Thursday night.
Chelsea's defeat to Fulham was only their third loss of the season, and after the game, midfielder Enzo Fernandez was asked about their title chances.
The Argentine midfielder echoed manager Enzo Maresca's comments, who has repeatedly repeatedly said that Chelsea are not fighting for the title.

“I really don’t understand this question. If the coach says that we are not in the title race, it’s because it’s like that.
“We are always training and playing to defend Chelsea and leave it as high as possible”, Fernandez told ESPN.
While 7 points is not an insurmountable gap, Liverpool have a game in hand, which could potentially extend their lead to 10 points.
The Blues end 2024 with a trip to face Ipswich at Portman Road.
