According to an official statement the club, Mehta Stadium is set to undergo renovations and transformation into a cricket facility.

Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC will no longer have Mehta Stadium, Lugazi as their home grounds.

The Tax Collectors have been forced into looking for alternative solutions as they wind up their Uganda Premier League campaign.

According to an official statement the club, Mehta Stadium is set to undergo renovations and transformation into a cricket facility.

David Obua's charges are thus set to host their next match against reigning champions Vipers SC at the KCCA FC MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo floodlights on March 30.

However, contrary to reports of using Omondi Stadium as their grounds, URA is yet to make a decision about the next home for the remainder of the season.

"URA have confirmed that they will be hosting their Uganda Premier League encounter against Vipers SC on Saturday 30th March at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, as we secure an alternative home ground," the club wrote on their website.

It's cognizant to note the Taxmen have yet to suffer defeat at home in the Uganda Premier League this season.

They have picked eight victories and managed three stalemates in 11 home matches.
