Mamelodi Sundowns, home to former Uganda Cranes captain, have today played and trumped Ismail Watenga's Golden Arrows 4-0 in the PSL.

Despite the latter game happening less than a day to the scheduled meeting, the friendly with Vipers would still have happened as Masandawana reportedly, had planned to use the other members of their squad.

The friendly was slated to serve as a precursor to Vipers' CAF Champions League preliminary round match against Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy.
