Willy shines for Leeds
The match which took place at the Swansea.com Stadium saw the visitors produce a comprehensive display inspired by the brilliant Willy.
From the opening whistle, Leeds asserted their dominance on the field, with relentless attacks and precise passing leaving Swansea struggling to keep pace.
The breakthrough came early for the visitors, as their attacking impetus yielded the first goal, netted by Crysencio Summerville in the eighth minute, setting the tone for a memorable performance.
Joel Piroe doubled the advantage two minutes later assisted by Gnonto, who went on to net his first of the encounter to give Leeds a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
Heading into halftime with a commanding lead, Leeds showed no signs of slowing down in the second half.
Despite Swansea's attempts to mount a comeback, Leeds' defensive solidity and relentless pressing kept their opponents at bay, denying any glimmer of hope for a turnaround.
The icing on the cake came in the 72nd minute of the game as Gnonto completed his brace with a sublime finish, putting the result beyond doubt and sealing Leeds' emphatic 4-0 victory.
Leeds United’s admin obviously enjoyed the show from Gnonto and entertained fans with an interesting ‘Willy sticks it in’ after his second of the day which sparked funny reactions.
