'They merit it' - Gor Mahia team manager pleased with Harambee Stars call-ups
Gor Mahia have had five players called up to the national team ahead of Kenya's crucial double-header against Cameroon and their team manager feels it is merited.
The FKFPL giants entered a transformative partnership with Acakoro Ladies in June of 2023 that oversaw the rebranding.
The move was a direct response to the Confederation of African Football (CAF)'s Club Licensing requirement, which mandates that clubs participating in inter-club competitions must include a women's team in their structure.
