Bove’s situation and club statement
Following the incident, Fiorentina released a statement about the situation and the condition of the player.

According to the Sun, the statement read, "ACF Fiorentina and the Careggi University Hospital have announced that footballer Edoardo Bove, who was treated on the pitch following a loss of consciousness during the Fiorentina v Inter match, is currently under sedation and is hospitalised in intensive care.
"The Viola player arrived at the emergency department in stable haemodynamic conditions and initial cardiological and neurological tests have ruled out acute damage to the central nervous system and the cardio-respiratory system. Bove will be re-evaluated in the next 24 hours."
Bove was observed straightening up after bending over and tying his laces. He stepped forward a few paces before he fell to the ground.

The player was then surrounded before being removed on a stretcher, loaded into an ambulance, and driven to Careggi Hospital.
Due to the medical situation, referee Daniele Doveri later ordered the players off the field, and the game was halted.
In the moment of the situation, Bove’s mum also fainted after watching her son collapse on the field.
Meanwhile, the player is responding and breathing normally on his own, according to the most recent information on his condition.
