The manager of the newly crowned LaLiga champions is already looking forward to planning for next season as he discusses the summer transfer window.

De Jong confirms Manchester United transfer talks with Barcelona
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has confirmed that Manchester United made a bid to sign him last summer.
Xavi revealed that signing a high-quality player for the pivot position will take priority this summer, ahead of even the right-back position, which they do not have a senior natural fit for. They have had to fit square pegs in round holes in the post lately, fielding centre-back Kounde and midfielder Sergi Roberto in the position.
Following the exit of Sergio Busquets, the defensive midfielder has announced he will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Xavi believes signing a replacement will be the most important move they make this summer.
“New RB? Not a top priority. We really need a high-level defensive pivot this summer - it’s obvious and logical after Busi’s exit.”
