Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace

The Blues shared the spoils with Crystal Palace on Matchday Three of the English Premier League in a thrilling game at Stamford Bridge.

Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring for Chelsea with a skilful finish assisted by Cole Palmer, but Ebere Eze equalised for Crystal Palace early in the second half.

Chelsea dominated early on, with Palmer narrowly missing a shot and Noni Madueke squandering two close-range chances before Jackson scored in the 25th minute, capping a well-executed team move. It was Jackson’s second goal in consecutive games.

With his assist, Palmer reached 15 Premier League assists since joining Chelsea last summer, making him the top provider for teammates during that time.

Palace struggled to threaten in the first half but levelled the score early in the second, as Eze curled in a superb shot from the edge of the box, leaving Chelsea's goalkeeper Robert Sánchez helpless.

To regain the lead, Chelsea introduced Mykhailo Mudryk after Malo Gusto's injury. However, the Ukrainian failed to create an impact, and despite late pressure and opportunities for Jackson, the Blues couldn't secure a winner.

Ultimately, both teams settled for a point, a crucial result for Oliver Glasner's Palace, who avoided a third consecutive defeat and earned their first draw against Chelsea since 1995.
