A harsh assessment of Nicolas Jackson's performance against Manchester City was delivered by Chelsea icon John Obi-Mikel.
Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season against Manchester City in their opening Premier League game.
A 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge with Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic's goal was enough to seal the victory for Pep Guardiola’s men.
After the game, a lot of blame went to Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, with Mikel Obi having a go at the striker for his disappointing performance.

Mikel slams Jackson
Mikel did not hold back on his comment on Jackson during his post-match analysis after Chelsea’s defeat to Man City.
The former Chelsea star said on beIN Sports, “You need to have a striker who knows how to hit a ball in the back of the net and that's what we don't have.
“I know I talk so much about him and sometimes I sound like I disrespect him, but I don't disrespect him.”
Jackson had an underwhelming performance against Man City and failed to convert some of the chances he got.
In the 67th minute, Marc Guiu, who is 18 years old, replaced Jackson after he made many costly errors against the reigning Premier League winners.
Mikel Obi was pissed at Jackson after the game and claimed he is not the striker Chelsea needs.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Mikel Obi also urged Jackson’s teammate Enzo Fernandez to step up and take on more responsibilities this season.
