Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players ahead of their season opener against Chelsea.
Despite their dominance in the Premier League with four consecutive league titles, Guardiola has emphasised that motivation is key to achieving sustained success this season.
As the champions prepare to face Chelsea on Sunday, Guardiola stressed the importance of staying focused and hungry for victory.

Guardiola warns City players ahead of Chelsea clash
"Our job is to make sure we do the proper things, because when you do that you win and you live better," he said.
"The other way, if you believe you have done it and relax, you won't win, you won't be top four," he warned. "That's always the target at the start of the season."
With City seeking to lift their seventh Premier League title in eight years, the message from Pep is for players to stay on their toes, especially with Arsenal looking as impressive as ever.
The Gunners ran City close last season and having added Riccardo Calafiori, will once again be favourites to push Guardiola's men even further.
