After spending their summer break together in Maldives, Calafiori sparked controversy after a controversial video of himself went viral on social media.
According to the viral footage, the Italian centre back was spotted fondling the lingerie of a mystery woman at a house party in Ibiza.
The unknown lady is believed to be a mutual acquaintance of the footballer as seconds later she is seen exiting the scene with another of Calafiori’s friends.

Days after the clip went viral, Bendetta first unfollowed Calafiori on her Instagram page, before the footballer returned the gesture hours later.

Additionally, the 27-year-old model from Rome, wiped her Instagram page of several photos of her and the player including ones of their matching tattoos - a gesture believed to be a statement denouncing her affiliation with the footballer.

After Bendetta Boeme and Riccardo Calafiori unfollowed each other on social media, a statement on TikTok allegedly written by Bendetta went viral.

In the fabricated statement, Calafiori’s actions at the Ibiza party is cited as one of the reasons the pair decided to part ways before the model allegedly confirms his transfer to Arsenal.

However, hours after the fake statement went viral, Bendetta took to her Instagram stories to debunk the misinformation and also threaten legal action.
She said: “I FIND myself FORCED TO HAVE TO WRITE THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY ΤΙΚΤΟΚ PROFILE!!

“SOMEONE IS POSING AS ME AND IS WRITING THINGS THAT ARE NOT TRUE! THIS IS MY SINGLE SOCIAL PROFILE.
I HAVE NEVER TALKED ABOUT ANYTHING AND NEVER WILL.
“I KINDLY ASK ANYONE WHO HAS OPENED THE TIKTOK PAGE PRETENDING IT IS ME AND WRITING PERSONAL AND DELICATE THINGS, WHICH ARE REPORTED IN ARTICLES TO CLOSE THE PROFILE IMMEDIATELY OTHERWISE I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION.”

Bendetta and Calafiori’s relationship came to light on May 20, 2024, the penultimate day of the 2022-23 Serie A season.
Bologna forced Juventus to a 2-2 draw and Riccardo Calafiori was named man of the match thanks to his impressive brace.
After the game, Calafiori was interviewed for the usual post-match comments on the sidelines.
During the live interview on DAZN with Giorgia Rossi, Bendetta made an unexpected appearance.
Wearing the footballer’s 33 jersey, she kissed Calafiori live on air and stayed by his side as the interview continued, announcing their relationship to the world.
