Fans react to Ronaldo's recorded song
Fans are in shock over what they're witnessing after an old video of the Portuguese superstar performing Julio Iglesias' "Amor Mio" surfaced on X.
According to the Sun, the song was a 2009 video shot that was part of a Portuguese advertising campaign for Ronaldo.
The video features the 39-year-old sitting in a recording studio, belting out songs while a dramatic backing track plays in the background.
The commercial was for Banco Espirito Santo (BES), a bank that is no longer in operation. The song was recorded when Ronaldo was still playing for Manchester United.
The funny clip, which was actually meant to be humorous in and of itself, appeared to be a hit with fans.
Fans responded online with positive comments despite this, as one fan wrote, "Not only the greatest football player of all time but also the greatest singer of all time."
A second said, "He has heavenly football skills and also a heavenly voice."
While another fan commented, "Why am I in tears? His voice is like that of an angel."
And a fourth joked, "The best singer in the world, and you can’t change my mind!"
