Brazilian legend, who spent six months in a cell, has once again lost his appeal to be sentenced to a shorter time behind bars.
In 2013, Robinho was found guilty along with five other men of sexually abusing an Albanian woman in a club.
The player was the subject of an international arrest order issued by Italy, but he was able to avoid going to jail for seven years while residing in Sao Paulo.
The former Real Madrid player is spending nine years in a deplorable Brazilian prison for rape, where he plays basketball with other rapists and murders.

‘They have to pay for what they did’ - Former Brazil teammate blast Dani Alves and Robinho amidst rape charges
A former teammate of both Dani Alves and Robinho has come out swinging, delivering a scathing critique of the pair amidst their recent legal troubles.
Robinho lost his appeal case
According to Portal Leo Dias, the footballer's defence filed a first request in July, but Brazilian courts rejected it.
The Sun reported that a convicted criminal in Brazil has the right to file repeated appeals in an attempt to lessen their sentence or have their crime classified as something other than a terrible one.
If the first basic appeal to a higher court is unsuccessful, the case may be taken to even higher tribunals, such as the Supreme Federal Court or the Superior Court of Justice.
Robinho has spent his first ten days in prison in complete isolation after being brought from his opulent Santos seaside property after his arrest in March.
The former Manchester City star was moved to a small cell that is 8 meters square and is shared by another prisoner.
The Brazilian will spend the greater part of a decade living in the tiny concrete block, a far cry from the opulent mansion he formerly called home in Manchester during his prime.
The ex-Real Madrid star will keep pushing for his sentence to be reduced as his lawyer looks to continue appealing the case.
