Fly Grams Of The Week: Super Eagles stars let fly with drip game, and the best of Valentines day delight

Here's our weekly review of the best posts this week from sporting personalities across the globe.

Every week, Pulse Sports Lifestyle desk will be serving you a roundup of the best pictures in the lives of sports athletes across the globe. 

This week has seemingly been no different with drip games and classy fits on display.

It’s also nice to see some of the Super of Eagles of Nigeria stars bring their style game to the gram, although, we’d love if they can keep up the energy for the culture.

This week also saw some athletes and their wags celebrate Valentine's day in their own way, giving us a few things to ‘awwww’ about surely.

Here are our picks for this week’s fly grams in sports:

Emmanuel Dennis

As the Nottingham Forest star continues with his struggles on the pitch, his game off it is entirely contrasting serving cold drips on drips week in week out.

This week was no different for the 25-year-old Super Eagles striker. It has always been his consistency for us.

Serena Williams

The Tennis legend had quite an eventful week, gracing nearly every big event in the US with her presence.

The 41-year-old icon was at the Super LVII on Sunday, before appearing in Super Bowl ad for Remy Martin’s ‘Inch by Inch’ campaign.

 Prior to Super Sunday, she was at the premiere of Netflix’s new golf docu-series ‘Full Swing’.

Chidozie Awaziem

The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Hajduk Split defender has endured a bright start to life in Croatia, featuring in nearly every game this season for his team.

Awaziem brought his New Year drip game to the gram and it wasn’t too little nor too late, as the Nigeria international made sure to get it right with his green-themed drip on Valentine’s day.

Obiageli Awaziem

Alongside Chidozie was his beautiful partner Obiageli.

The Super Eagles star recently celebrated her birthday earlier this year with an exotic car gift that had tongues wagging.

Obiageli herself recently launched the opening of her luxury apparel store in Enugu ‘2Perfect Luxury’ and took to her page to show off herself rocking one of the outfits courtesy of her new store.

She actually looked pretty as usual as she basked in the sun.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were victorious against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LVII.

The Chiefs managed a win only with just eight seconds to go in the second half after being outplayed in the opening half following Harrison Butker's 27-yard field goal to seal a 38-35 win for the Chiefs.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs brought one of the sickest pre-match drip games before lifting the NFL’s apex trophy.

Georgina Rodriguez

The gorgeous model and wife of Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has made the style look so easy, effortlessly slaying week in week out.

This week she absolutely nailed her dress while modelling for Italian fashion brand Elisabeth Franchi.

LeBron James

King James made history last week becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer ahead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

The Lakers star continued to celebrate his win this week with none other than his family, whom he posted on his official Instagram page, having recently credited his beautiful wife and one of the biggest drivers of his incredible success in the sport.

Said Benrahama

The Algeria and West Ham star has been known to be one of the most fashionable African footballers in the world.

Benrahama reminded fans once again of his finesse dress sense after sporting his trademark casual fit which is usually Varsity or Puffy jacket-themed.

Memphis Depay

No player has looked happier to leave FC Barcelona in recent times than the Dutch superstar forward.

The Atletico Madrid star recently celebrated his 29th birthday in style releasing a song titled ‘Asem Baba’ to celebrate his January switch from the Spotify Camp Nou to the Wanda Metropolitano, while posting photos of his drip game subsequently on the gram.

Wanda Nara

The popular Argentine businesswoman has continued to leave many puzzled as to the actual status of her relationship with footballer Mauro Icardi.

The pair have been married for eight years but have been back and forth with each other, with all sorts of scandals reportedly said to be rocking their union.

Wanda took to her social media to continue with the trend of posting thirst traps on her social media page, only that this time, she celebrated Valentine with a message simply preaching ‘Self Love’. Could that mean, her relationship with Icardi is still undergoing a rocky spell? We’ll probably find out soon enough.

Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig

The Real Madrid goalkeeper posted some loved up photos with his Jewish girlfriend Mishel Gerzig and once more publicly declared his love for his fiance.

 The pair are actually engaged after Courtois reportedly proposed to her in June 2022.

Mishel in turn posted the Belgium star on her social media page as well to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Marcus Rashford

The Manchester United star is currently enjoying one of his best seasons in the Red Devils shirt.

However, while sharing some special moments on the pitch, the  25-year-old English winger shares some special moments outside football as well.

Rashford took to his Instagram to show off photos of himself and his girlfriend Lucia Loi, 25, cuddled up in a special Valentine post he simply captioned ‘X’.

James Maddison

The Leicester City star is one of the most fashionable English footballers and showed off his cool game this week on the gram.

Winnie Harlow and Kyle Kuzma

Houston Rockets star Kyle Kuzma looked adorable with his Canadian model girlfriend Winnie Harlow.

The couple recently showed off photos from their Valentine's Day Q&A shoot with British lifestyle magazine GQ. 

As usual, they both blessed the audience with their classy blend of colours and style.

Cono McGregor

The Irish MMA star managed to avoid controversy this week, but took to Instagram to show off photos of himself and his adorable family.

McGregor is currently the highest paid MMA fighter in the UFC division, just ahead of Nigerian-New Zealand fighter Israel Adesanya.

Israel Adesanya

The former middleweight champion is currently gearing up for a rematch against Alex Perreira. A match he says it’s a ‘must win’ for him regardless of the belt.

Adesanya took to social media this week to hint at his retirement plans.

Mayara Zamboni

The stunning girlfriend of Super Eagles star Leon Balogun shared some really cute photo dump of how her February has gone so far, giving fans a teaser of what she’s been up to.

Apart from taking some beautiful selfies, Mayara has also been spending time in the gym, as well as with books.

While the Brazilian maintains a healthy diet, she has also been travelling quite a lot as well. 

Wilfred Ndidi

The Leicester City and Super Eagles midfielder appears to have found the energy to post on his Instagram page following the Foxes recent upturn in form.

The Foxes have won their last three matches in all competitions, having scored two goals in two of those fixtures in the Premier League and Ndidi is finally getting his groove back on.

John Stones

The Manchester City defender linked up with popular Hollywood comedy actor Will Ferrel who is famous for his role in the 2010 comedy movie ‘The Other Guys’ , amongst other films.

Stones posted photos of himself and the actor in City’s dressing room ahead of the win against Arsenal on Wednesday in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old did not feature for the visitors in the win against Arsenal having picked up an injury in the same fixture in the FA Cup over three weeks ago.

Jules Kounde

The France and Barcelona defender is now the undisputed best dressed player in the Barcelona squad following the departures of Memphis Depay and Hector Bellerin last month.

Kounde has impressed with his pre-match fits so far this year and this week was no different as the 24-year-old showed off his style on the gram before Barcelona’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United in their Europa League round of 16 first-leg tie.
