The Super Eagles billionaire is in the headlines after being exposed for an alleged link up in Saudi Arabia with a UK-based podcaster.
Super Eagles star Odion Jude Ighalo has found himself at the centre of an alleged dating scandal after a UK-based podcaster, Esther, took to social media to spark dating rumours.
The drama escalated after Esther shared photos and messages that allegedly prove she stayed at Ighalo’s mansion in Saudi Arabia and even used his personal driver.

Esther, who is based in the UK but frequently travels to the US, hosts her own podcast, and is also a co-host of another show named “Unleashed Podcast”.
However, the genesis of the drama with Ighalo begun after she allegedly posted images from inside his luxury Maybach, which she claimed had dropped her off at the airport.
)
In her Instagram stories, she publicly thanked the Super Eagles star for his hospitality, even suggesting she was considering relocating to Saudi Arabia due to how well she was treated.

However, as soon fans begun to speculate the pair were dating, she took to her Instagram stories to clarify saying:
“Wow y'all are serious FBI's on here cos like how??? but I promise it's not that. Just a nice guy that tried to help me enjoy Saudi. Nothing more nothing less. Let's all have a cup of tea and cool down.”
)
However, things took a sharp turn when Ighalo, currently playing for Saudi club Al-Wehda, reportedly responded via Snapchat in a now-deleted series of posts.
The 35-year-old striker allegedly denied knowing Esther well, stating that he had only extended help during her time in Saudi Arabia.
)
The billionaire footballer allegedly insisted that he was in Nigeria at the time she stayed at his home, suggesting there was no personal connection beyond his supposed goodwill.
)
In his response, Ighalo allegedly wrote, “I don’t know you like that. Stop using my name to chase clout. Delete those pictures.”

Apparently, Esther was having none of it as she almost immediately hit back on Instagram, dropping alleged receipts, including WhatsApp conversations between herself and Ighalo’s driver, as well as messages that she claims were exchanged directly with Ighalo, discussing their supposed meetups.

“So it's true guys, y'all fave was just trying to ‘HELP’, he really didn't see me at all in Saudi because he was in Nigeria the whole timeeeee,” she wrote sarcastically in one of the screenshots, implying that Ighalo’s public denial did not match the reality of their alleged interactions.
Snapchat war and more revelations amid alleged Saudi link up
)
As the controversy spread across social media, Esther continued to post screenshots, including an alleged heated Snapchat exchange with Ighalo.
In one message, the former Super Eagles no.9 allegedly urged her to let the issue die down rather than fuel it with more posts.
)
However, Esther seemed to disagree, rather urging him to take control of the spiralling situation.

)
Expressing her frustration once more, she wrote in another post on her stories:
“I'm so mad cos I've never had to talk about my personal business on social media like this ever in my life and I really was willing to save face for you so you didn't have to deal with this but how the hell are you going to try humiliate me online and tell me to just let it blow over like wtf!!”
)
The situation has since taken social media by storm, with fans and followers split over who to believe.
While some sympathise with Ighalo, calling it an attempt to tarnish his reputation, others argue that Esther’s alleged evidence is too damning to ignore.
As of the time of this report, Ighalo has not released an official statement addressing their alleged link up beyond his reported Snapchat posts, and it still remains unclear if he will take further steps to refute Esther’s claims.
