Reflecting on the lasting emotional scars, Rodriguez told Daily Mail, "The security is one of the things I'm more worried about. It's very hard when you are not comfortable at your home.
“I'm scared to sleep alone with my kids, for example. So for today, the most important thing for me, I think, is the security of me and my family."
Cucurella’s challenging transition to Chelsea

While the break-in marked a personal crisis for the family, it coincided with a difficult period in Cucurella's professional life.
After his much-anticipated transfer to Chelsea, the 26-year-old Spaniard struggled to adapt to life at Stamford Bridge amidst a turbulent season for the club, which saw the departure of Thomas Tuchel and the hiring of Graham Potter.
Cucurella’s performances on the field were under constant scrutiny, and his first year in London proved to be a tough adjustment.

Rodriguez opened up about how both she and her partner faced challenges, saying:
"It was difficult. The first year was very difficult because we didn’t have the best year. So was very difficult for him and for me, also family, and now just the best part is we managed it, and I'm very proud. We need, sometimes, chapters like that, you know, so today I'm proud of all of it."
Despite these setbacks, things seem to be improving for both Cucurella and Rodriguez.
The Spain international has found a more consistent role in Chelsea's defensive line under head coach Enzo Maresca, having helped his national team become champions at Euro 2024 in Germany last year.
Cucurella is expected to return to action for Chelsea against Legia Warsaw in quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday, April 10.
