Before his marriage crashed in 2023, Defoe was dubbed a 'love rat' after being famous for his multiple s*xual relationships that included hot models and reality TV stars.
Jermain Defoe might be a Premier League legend, but his love life is pure definition of ‘scandalous’.
Take nothing away from his football career, Defoe’s 162 goals in England's top flight make him the ninth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history.
However, away from the pitch, his relationship adventures has been nothing short of sizzling.
The former Tottenham and England star kicked off his wild ride in the early 2000s by dating none other than Joanne Beckham – the sister to the richest English footballer in the world, David Beckham.
Their "on-off" fling was full of ups and downs, but after two years, Defoe seemingly ditched her to focus on his football career.
But buckle up, because it gets juicier.
In 2006, Defoe got ‘serious’ or so we thought–with model Charlotte Mears.
The ex-Spurs striker even splashed a cool £63,000 on an engagement ring.
But this love story was destined for disaster as Defoe dumped Charlotte in 2007 for her friend – the one and only glamour queen Danielle Lloyd.
Danielle, who is a former Miss Great Britain and Playboy model, was not also having any of Defoe’s casanova tactics.
She ended up leaving the footballer when she caught wind of his alleged affair with single mum Stephanie Moule — Defoe had no limits really.
Danielle told the Daily Star at the time:
"Yes, it's true. I've told Jermain our relationship is over. If you want to know the reason, you'd better ask him."
She eventually went on to start a family with another footballer, Jamie O'Hara, who now works as a host on TalkSPORT.

In truth, Defoe’s love life just could not stay out of the spotlight.
In 2009, he was said to have hooked up with reality TV hotshot Imogen Thomas, who had already made headlines for her affair with Manchester United star Ryan Giggs.
But Defoe’s romance with Imogen was short-lived, and soon enough, he was linked to yet another stunner, model Chantelle Houghton.
This fling, like the rest, went down in flames after just four months, with Chantelle accusing Defoe of being ‘untrustworthy’.
Before the pair split, Defoe attempted to set the record straight:
"I just don’t understand what I've done wrong. I'm a good Catholic boy. I go to church. I don't deserve this love rat tag. It's all a load of rubbish - and it's doing my head in."
And just when you thought Defoe had calmed down, boom! he decided to settle down with Scottish model Donna Tierney in 2022 in a jaw-dropping £200,000 wedding.
But in January 2023, Donna was walking out of the marriage, accusing the footballer of cheating after finding a juicy love note.
Defoe denied the accusations, but the ink on the divorce papers wasn’t even dry before he was spotted cosying up with personal shopper Alisha LeMay.
Just when we thought he had found love again, Defoe was caught smooching wedding planner Paige Mallabourn-Edmondson shortly after.
A former England international, Defoe made 57 appearances and scoring 20 goals, including three appearances and a goal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Defoe retired from professional football in March 2022, having last played for Championship club Sunderland.
Following his retirement, Defoe returned to Tottenham Hotspur as club ambassador and an academy coach, saying he aims to inspire more black coaches and managers.
He left the role in July 2024 to concentrate on a managerial career
