Tennis star Matteo Berrettini confirmed breakup with supermodel and TV presenter Melissa Satta over a year ago, in what he described as an 'intense' relationship.
The 27-year-old Italian, known for his powerful serve and deep runs at Wimbledon, had been romantically involved with 38-year-old Satta since January 2023.
Despite their chemistry, Berrettini revealed in February 2023 that the relationship had come to a natural end, parting ways amicably.

"Melissa Satta and I are no longer together. What I can say is that we had a beautiful, intense relationship and we have great respect for each other," Berrettini told Italian media, as reported by Daily Mail and The New York Post.

"I won’t go beyond this, I don’t like sharing my private life too much. Nothing special happened. I must thank her for this period we lived together very intensely despite all the difficulties."

Melissa Satta who boasts more than 4.8 million followers on Instagram has long been known for her high-profile relationships, particularly with athletes.
Before Berrettini, she was in a five-year romance with Italian football icon Christian Vieri.

One of Satta’s most infamous entanglements involved basketball legend Kobe Bryant.
In 2011, she was spotted outside a hotel with the late NBA star, which allegedly contributed to his wife Vanessa Bryant filing for divorce, although the couple later reconciled.
Satta also had a brief romance with ex-Aston Villa striker John Carew before entering a long-term relationship with ex-Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng, whom she later married in 2016.
The two share a son, Maddox Prince, but finalized their divorce in December 2020.
