Sir Alex Ferguson celebrated a remarkable 1-3 finish on Grand National Day at Aintree, winning over £80,000 on a bet.
Hitman had secured three wins and an impressive ten second-place finishes in 23 races this season. However, he was unable to add to his success at Merseyside on Saturday, despite his previous achievements.
Sir Alex Ferguson experienced disappointment at the Grand National horse race as his sole contender, Hitman, was pulled out of the race before reaching the finish line.
Despite his previous success at Aintree, with Hitman having finished in the top three in four out of six appearances, the horse was pulled up during this year's Grand National.
