The Galatasaray star confirmed he’s now dating the actress whom he allegedly cheated on his ex-wife with while they were still married.
Mauro Icardi has officially confirmed his romance with model and actress Eugenia 'China' Suárez.
Suárez was the woman at the centre of the infamous 2021 'Wandagate' scandal. Sharing intimate photos on Instagram, the Galatasaray star declared his love in a heartfelt caption:
“They say the best stories start when you least expect them… who knows… they are things of destiny… that destination that always finds a way to bring two people together no matter how much time passes."
He concluded the post with an artful sentiment saying:
“Because there are encounters that seem written in the stars… Today, I don't need any more signs. I know that with you, I’m where I should be @sangrejaponesa."
The announcement was accompanied by pictures of the couple sharing tender moments alongside Icardi’s daughters, Francesca, 9, and Isabella, 8.
Icardi and China Suarez romance rekindled: Wanda Nara strikes back after ending her romance with rapper L-Gante
The romantic reveal hasn’t gone unnoticed by Icardi's ex-wife, Wanda Nara, who remains locked in a messy divorce battle with the footballer.
Reports in Argentina claim Wanda is fuming over photos of her daughters bonding with Suárez.
The former agent of Icardi, recently announced her split from Argentine rapper L-Gante, months after the pair began dating following her divorce from the footballer.
And now, Wanda is forced to watch her ex-husband go public with his old romance while going through another breakup of her own.
The TV personality and business woman is believed to be considering legal action to prevent Icardi from posting images of their children online.
The saga reignites memories of the 'Wandagate' scandal in 2021, when Icardi admitted to an affair with Suárez during his marriage to Wanda.
At the time, he called it a "mistake" and reconciled with his wife, but their relationship ultimately crumbled.
Last year, Wanda publicly divorced Icardi just weeks after the pair celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
Fast-forward three years, and Icardi and Suárez are now openly flaunting their love.
The two lovebirds reportedly spent Christmas together in Icardi’s newly acquired 5,225-square-metre estate in Buenos Aires.
Icardi’s declaration of love, alongside the phrase ‘Love always beats hate’, is widely seen as a thinly-veiled jab at Wanda, as their bitter feud continues to dominate headlines in Argentina.
