After months of speculation and cryptic comments, Salah finally put pen to paper and ended the saga surrounding his future.

Egyptian journalist Ismael Mahmoud, who has been close to the negotiations, reported via X: “I’ve heard that Salah’s potential salary in the new contract would be a fixed £400,000 per week.”

That would make Salah the highest-paid player in Liverpool’s history, with a 12.5% increase on his previous wages.

Meanwhile Journalist Danny Gallagher of This Is Anfield, noted that the delay in finalising the agreement came down to performance-based incentives such as goal bonuses, assist payouts, and big-win rewards.

Liverpool fans can breathe easy knowing their third all-time top scorer (243 goals in 394 games) is staying put.
