The iconic cognac brand Rémy Martin made its Super Bowl debut with Tennis legend Serena Williams.

French cognac giants Remy Martin collaborated with Serena Williams for an inspirational advert at the just concluded Super Bowl LVII.

The 41-year-old tennis legend partnered with the drinks brand to mark their Super Bowl debut.

The advert took inspiration from the iconic American football film from Warner Bros. Pictures, 'Any Given Sunday', in which the famous Inch by Inch speech was recited by fictional coach Tony D’Amato.

 Rémy Martin’s first Super Bowl advertisement celebrates teamwork in a variety of ways, highlighting the individuals who acknowledge that great success cannot be accomplished alone, and that as part of a collective team, true excellence can be achieved.

Rémy Martin’s new Inch by Inch campaign highlights how teamwork is a major tool for success by spotlighting the many ways teams achieve greatness.

 Like the House of Rémy Martin, whose values are rooted in accomplishments shaped through teamwork to instill passion and excellence, the talents highlighted in the new campaign have proven knowledge of creating, building, and achieving together. 

The campaign stars Tennis all-time great Serena Williams, who masterfully recites her own version of Coach Tony D'Amato’s pre-game speech from American football film 'Any Given Sunday'.

The brand new campaign aired live for the first time during the first quarter of Super Bowl LVII held in Glendale, Arizona on February 12th, under license from Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, according to Shots.

The Super Bowl has been known for its non-stop airing of beer advertisements.

To that effect Remy Martin partnered with one of the greatest athletes of all time, Serena Williams, to help the 60-second advert titled “Inch by Inch”, with the trailer having already debuted on Friday ahead of the Super Bowl finals.

Williams herself is no stranger to the Super Bowl having appeared in a Michelob Ultra ad last year.

“I’m a big hostess and planner in my family, we love to spend time together, and this cognac has been a part of many family game nights and celebrations,” Williams was quoted to have said as per The Hollywood Reporter.

 “I also love that the brand is founded on family, relationships and teamwork because those are also pillars I value in my life.”

The 23-time Grand Slam winner is one of the most active athletes outside of the sporting world, with a host of promotions and brand ambassadorship deals to her name, racking tens of millions of dollars yearly.
