Cristiano Ronaldo revealed the reason why he has not married Georgina Rodriguez despite having three kids together.

 Cristiano Ronaldo’s love life has consistently been a subject of fascination for fans and tabloids alike. 

Since 2016, the Portuguese football legend has been romantically involved with model and entrepreneur Georgina Rodríguez. 

The pair, who share three children and are parents of five, have remained a steady presence in the media, and yet, despite their strong bond, the two have not yet married, which has led to widespread speculation.

But it seems that speculation was taken a step further recently when an internet user made a controversial comment online that quickly set social media on fire.

In a viral cut from a 2022 episode of popular Netflix docuseries ‘I Am Georgina’, Ronaldo and Georgina opened up about their future together. 

Ronaldo explained that the decision to marry was not based on any time constraint, but rather on the right moment. 

“I always tell her [Gio] that when we get that click, like everything in our life and she knows what I’m talking about. It could be in a year, or it could be in six months or in a month. I’m 1000% sure it’ll happen,” Ronaldo shared, leaving fans wondering if this “click” would ever come. 

However, this insight into their relationship was met with a rather controversial response from a social media user, @obuya_vanessa, who posted, “Ronaldo is a weak man. I can have him if I want to, but he ain’t my type ni**a.” 

This bold and inflammatory statement went viral almost instantly, sparking backlash from Ronaldo’s supporters who were quick to defend their hero.

Fans come to Ronaldo’s defense

As expected, fans rallied behind the Al Nassr star and five-time Ballon d’Or winner, condemning the internet user’s remark as unnecessary and disrespectful. 

One particularly sharp response came from a user who quoted the tweet, saying: “Ronaldo is not my type, he is a weak man, person wey her tomorrow food never sure.” 

Another fan, clearly amused by the situation, wrote, “A girl that knows her value… big purrrr,” expressing mockery of the troll’s bravado.

 And for some, the comment became so outrageous that one user remarked, “Peak f**LING contender of the year and we are still in March,” referring to the absurdity of the comment being made public so early in the year. 

Another added, “I have never seen this type of delusion in my life before, man,” expressing their shock at the level of arrogance behind the statement.

It’s evident that social media is far from a neutral ground, especially when it comes to the lives of celebrities like Cristiano Ronaldo.

While the internet allows for free speech, it’s also a space where defending your idols has become second nature for many, especially when they feel that the criticism is unfounded or unjust.

For Ronaldo, the personal attacks don’t seem to faze him.
