After conquering football, Cristiano Ronaldo is coming for Hollywood with his latest business venture.

Cristiano Ronaldo is officially stepping onto the big screen.

According to reports, the Al-Nassr superstar has teamed up with British filmmaker Matthew Vaughn to launch an independent film studio called "UR•Marv".

Variety exclusively revealed that Ronaldo and British filmmaker Vaughn, best known for X-Men: First Class, Kingsman, and Kick-Ass, have already completed two action films and are currently developing a third, all part of the same series.

The two powerhouses financed and produced them through UR•Marv.

Ronaldo, whose CR7 brand was recently valued at a staggering $883.8 million (€850 million), sees this move as a natural next step.

“This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business,” the 40-year-old star said.

“Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero,” Vaughn said.

Vaughn, who turned the Kingsman series into a global franchise and most recently directed Argylle (2024), is no stranger to building cinematic empires.

Now, with Ronaldo by his side, he’s bringing that same energy to UR•Marv.

This would not be Ronaldo’s first media play.

In October 2023, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner became a major investor in Medialivre (formerly Cofina Media), which owns Portuguese outlets like Correio da Manhã and Record.

Then, in August 2024, he launched his own YouTube channel, 'UR Cristiano', which broke several records by offering fans intimate access to his life through personal challenges and exclusive content.

Ronaldo’s dabble into Hollywood seems to be laying the foundation for a full-blown entertainment empire.
