Trippier has been having issues with his wife before leaving with the England national team for the Euro.
The right-back's "personal commitment" kept him from training with the England team in September before a Euros qualifier against Ukraine.
He was granted special permission by manager Gareth Southgate to arrive late, following a romantic holiday to Italy with his wife Charlotte.
