Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma has been confronted by robbers who stole his ₦44 million wristwatch in France.
Following the completion of the Premier League season with Tottenham, Bissouma took a trip to France with his wife for vacation.
On their way to a five-star hotel in Cannes over the weekend, the midfield player and his spouse were attacked by robbers.

Bissouma and wife robbed
Around four in the morning on Sunday, Bissouma was allegedly attacked by two hooded guys as he was getting out of his car outside the Majestic Barriere hotel.
According to reports from the Sun, the robbers splashed tear gas in the face of the player to get him destabilised before snatching his £260,000 (₦44 million) wristwatch.
The robbers then fled the scene with his car, leaving the footballer and his wife shocked and distraught.
The Malian international informed authorities that he tried to hide in the five-star hotel but found out it was locked. The event happened on the poshest street in Cannes, the Promenade de la Croisette, in France.
A string of horrific raids on celebrities' homes across England has left Bissouma as the latest football player to fall victim to robbery.
Football stars have been a big target for robbers, especially during away games when teams travel.
