The NBA legend sold his iconic multi-million-dollar home for a discounted price over a decade after listing it on the market.

Michael Jordan, the world’s richest athlete and NBA legend, has finally sold his Highland Park mansion in Illinois for an impressive ₦16.1 billion ($9.5 million).

The sale, completed nearly 12 years after the property was first listed, marked a staggering 67% drop from its original asking price of $29 million in December 2013.

The 32,683 square-foot property, a symbol of Jordan’s illustrious career, spent years on and off the market with no buyers meeting its hefty valuation.

Last listed in 2015 for $14.8 million, the property was later removed in 2021 before entering escrow in September.

According to realtor.com, the deal officially closed this week, ending a long chapter for the billionaire's real estate saga.
