Drake again has bet 309 million Naira on Jon Jones to beat Gane.
Canadian rapper, singer, and actor Aubrey Drake Graham has made a sizeable financial investment in betting ahead of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 285 edition.
The main event of UFC 285 marks the return of American professional mixed martial artist Jonathan Jones after a three-year absence.
Jones will contest the heavyweight title against French professional mixed martial artist Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 285.
Jones is confident of victory against Gane
Jones at the press conference for the fight stated that he intends to have a dominant performance against Gane.
He analyzed the strengths of his opponent and highlighted his flaws in wrestling and why he is ready to replace Cameroonian-French professional mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou as the new champion.
He said, "It's hard to say whether the fight will be my toughest challenge or not.
"I am ready to dominate but if I don't dominate and the fight goes five rounds then I'm ready for a dogfight.
"To bleed, sweat and leave my heart out there. I'm ready for however it goes.
"I realised that he [Gane] doesn't really have much wrestling. He relies on evasion and trying to get away.
"He relies on jiu-jitsu instead of solid takedown defence. He does have the striking down, I don't think defensively he is a very strong kickboxer. Two other big holes are jiu-jitsu and wrestling."
Drake bets to Jones to beat Gane
Ahead of the fight, Drake made a sizeable bet on Jones to defeat Gane.
Drake made two bets worth $250,000 on Jones to win either by knockout or by submission.
The bet of $250,000 on Jones to win by knockout would fetch Drake a whopping $ 1.3 million.
While the $250,000 bet on Jones to win by submission would bring Drake $ 1.7 million.
The last sizeable bet Drake made on American social media personality Jake Paul to defeat British television personality Tommy Fury in a boxing fight held in Saudi Arabia.
