At UFC 302, Sean Strickland triumphed against Paulo Costa via split decision in the co-main event held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

In a new video posted to his FREESTYLEBENDER YouTube account, Adesanya is shown responding to the main event scenes from Saturday night's UFC 302 main card.
The Nigerian-New Zealander, who lost the middleweight belt to Strickland only last September after defeating Costa in 2020, watched the co-main event at Prudential Center intently.

Adesanya will probably be thinking about doing a second dance with Strickland at this point.
But first, in order to become a three-time champion, he must overthrow Dricus Du Plessis.

"The Last Stylebender" is anticipated to be the South African's first opponent at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia, this August, however, the opponent has not yet been revealed.
It seems that Strickland will face the victor of that grudge battle in a championship rematch, regardless of the outcome.
