After Alexandre Pantoja's victory in the UFC 301 main event, he interacted with a mostly empty crowd. Fans responded.
The UFC flyweight title was up for grabs when Pantoja defeated Steve Erceg, rated number ten, on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, capping up the pay-per-view event.
Erceg's outstanding performance caused "The Cannibal" to struggle at times, but in the end, a unanimous decision (49-46 and 48-47 x2) declared the winner.
As Pantoja fought to maintain his throne in front of Brazilian supporters, his decisive victory ought to have created a memorable moment for the audience.
Regretfully, the flyweight champion only spoke to a small number of the spectators who remained in the arena as he was leaving the octagon.

Adesanya on Brazil UFC 301
Adesanya who currently competes in the Middleweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship is a former two-time UFC Middleweight Champion.
Since his loss to Sean Strickland, Adesanya has not been in action.
He took to social media to react to the UFC 301 and was not impressed with the fans.

He said, “Brazil had the worst crowd in UFC history, never host them ever again.”
Adesanya also responded to the mistake made by Bruce Buffer when announcing the winner of Anthony Smith vs. Vitor Petrino at UFC 301.
The Stylebender is expected to return to the octagon against South Africa's Dricus Du Plessis.
