Adesanya has not participated in any competitions since losing to Dricus du Plessis by submission in the fourth round at UFC 305.
The two-time middleweight champion is still a mainstay in the mixed martial arts community, despite not disclosing any plans for a comeback.
This weekend, "The Last Stylebender" posted a video of himself watching UFC 309, showing his reaction to the extremely entertaining conclusion between Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.
As Adesanya watched the last scene, in which "Iron" repeatedly slammed "Do Bronx" to the ground while the latter was on his back, she chuckled and said:
He said, "On your back! Do it, do it, do it, do it!
"Haha, yeah! Another one! Do another one. Let's go!"
Adesanya got a lot of praise on social media for his reaction to the fight.
It was mostly positive reviews for Adesanya after he received some blowback for praising Donald Trump for winning the 2025 US presidential elections.
