Many were taken aback by Rountree's superb shooting in rounds one and two, as it appeared like he was beating Pereira.

Rountree struck Pereira with a right hook as he slipped under a just missed high kick in the second round.

In a rare moment of indecision, the usually cool Pereira grounded "Poatan" and lit up the arena.

After being hit, Alex got better and started to become more aggressive. Rountree appeared more immovable as Pereira's characteristic low kicks accumulated, allowing Pereira to unleash a more destructive volume.
