The 24-year-old driver is the only African driver in both the Croatia rally and the full Junior WRC campaign this year.
Kenyan driver Hamza Anwar returns to action in the second round of the Junior World Rally Championship, which will be held on the sidelines of WRC Croatia and runs from 20th to 23rd April.
The 24-year-old will be among the 57 drivers enlisted for the rally, which is expected to be slippery and snowy.
Anwar will look to improve his performance at Sweden Rally, where he steered his M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3 to an eighth finish in the Junior WRC category.
The son of former Nanyuki Rally winner (Asad Anwar) finished 36th overall in the Rally Sweden.
Anwar will compete in the rally with his long-time navigator Adnan Din who together finished third overall and won the ARC Junior title, which earned him the opportunity to drive in the Junior WRC.

The rally was the second round of the 2023 FIA Africa Rally Championship (ARC).
According to FIA, entrants will be vying for the biggest prize in rallying; Four fully-funded WRC2 prize drives in an Ecoboost-powered M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally2, including 200 Pirelli tires, free registration for WRC 2 in 2024 and a pre-event test for each round.
Anwar made his WRC debut on Safari Rally Kenya in 2021, steering his Fiesta Rally3 through one of the WRC’s most demanding rallies to second in the Rally3 category.
The youngster has 29 rally starts to his name and will be experiencing European rallying for the second time.
