Piloting his Datsun 240Z, Bell widened the gap between himself and competitors by an impressive 3 minutes and 16 seconds, outpacing Italy's Eugenio Amos. Philip Kadoorrie secured the third spot overall, trailing the leader by 8 minutes and 54 seconds.

“We are still having overheating problems so we are having to change the gear early, not getting the normal top speed that we are used to, but overall a nice day and the last stage was fantastic," he stated.
Bell's expert skills were evident as he managed a top-ten finish on both stages of the day, showcasing his dominance in the rally.

Chager leads the Kenyan top five contenders on the leaderboard, with Rajesh Maini in ninth place, Ian Duncan in 12th (Datsun 280Z), and Anthony Nielsen in 14th (Ford Escort MK2). Debutant Kyle Lucas (Ford Escort MK2) secured the 24th position.
An unexpected twist in the rally came as South Africa's Johnny Gemnel claimed his first stage win, surpassing Eugenio Amos and Emille Breittmayer. Piers Daykin, driving a Datsun 280Z, secured the second stage of the day, beating Chager by 16.2 seconds and clinching his maiden stage win in the Classic Rally.

We only had four days to get the car ready, as the other vehicle we intended to use faced delays and did not arrive on time. The last two days have been a dream for us."
As the rally progresses into Day 3, competitors will embark on a challenging route from Amboseli to Naivasha.
