KCCA Netball Club anxiously wait for the National Super League committee's decision on the suspension against Weyonje after suffering their first loss of the season.

With three games to go, KCCA has a slight advantage over National Insurance Corporation Netball Club, who ended their unbeaten run Wednesday in Kamwokya.

NIC leapfrogged KCCA to the table summit following a hard-fought 43-41 victory. The two giants have 34 points, with KCCA having played a game less.

The KCCA match against Weyonje was suspended with just five minutes left earlier this month after a contested decision by the match officials.

The two teams turned rowdy and attacked match officials, and the game was suspended when the two sides were level 35-35.

"NIC is a big team and is the defending champion,” KCCA assistant coach Nourdin Kato said.

“The game was 50/50, and the advantage went to NIC; we made some small mistakes that cost us.”

"We are going back to work on the challenges we had in the game, and we are coming back strong. We are focusing on the next game. Taking the trophy is our target,” Kato added.

In the other matches, Posta Netball Club lost 30-50 to Africa Renewal University, Prisons Netball Club defeated UPDF Netball Club 55-38, and Mutelx Life Sport lost 37-53 to Makindye Weyonje Netball Club.
