She Cranes goal shooter/ goalkeeper Haniisha Muhameed has signed for two-time Netball Super League champions Surrey Storm, the club announced.
Muhameed joins the Netball Super League club from Kampala City Council Authority after her phenomenal exploits helped the She Cranes to fifth place at the 2023 Netball World Cup.
"I am super excited to join Surrey Storm. It's a fantastic opportunity for me to play at a very high level, and I am looking forward to working extremely hard on and off the court," Muhammed told the club media.

Surrey Storm head coach Mikki Austin said he is looking forward to having Muhammed on the team as she will bring something different.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of Haniisha to Surrey Storm. She showed her tenacious side and prowess at the Netball World Cup this summer.”
"Haniisha will bring a dogged tenacity and ball-winning ability to our defensive end, which we look forward to working with and integrating into the Netball Super League here in the UK," Austin told the club media.
Muhammed will join fellow compatriot and former She Cranes captain Peace Proscovia in Guildford as they look to win their first title since 2016.
Muhammed has represented Uganda at major international tournaments like the 2022 CommonWealth games and the just concluded 2023 Netball World Cup.
