Tomokazu Harimoto knocks out Aruna Quadri
In a match-up that latest just three sets, Quadri was dominated by Japanese star Tomokazu Harimoto.
The first set was the closest but Harimoto was able to edge Quadri 11-9.
In the second set, the domination started as Harimoto recorded an 11-3 win.
The third set also went 11-5 for Harimoto to seal a comfortable win.
The victory means Quadri is knocked out of the tournament in the semifinals while Harimoto progresses to the Championship game.
Quadri made history in Doha with a 3-1 win over England's Liam Pitchford in the Preliminary Round of the tournament.
He followed it up with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Alvaro Robles of Spain in the round of 32.
Quadri is expected to return for the third-place game at the Lusail Sports Arena.
