Busia County Government has embarked on a mission to recruit a team of exceptional coaches in various disciplines for the upcoming Kenya Inter-counties Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA) Games, scheduled to take place in August.
The county aims to assemble a group of temporary coaches who will train and lead their respective county teams in preparation for the highly anticipated event.

In a statement, Acting Director of Culture Grace Apadet emphasized the importance of qualified coaches in maximizing the potential of the county's athletes.
"We are looking for dedicated and skilled coaches who can bring out the best in our athletes. The vetting process will be conducted meticulously, guaranteeing transparency and equal opportunities for all applicants," stated Apadet, highlighting the county's commitment to fairness.

Apadet has encouraged coaches from all seven sub-counties, namely Teso North, Teso South, Nambale, Butula, Matayos, Samia, and Bunyala, to submit their documents expressing their interest in coaching the county teams.
The submission deadline has been set for June 30th, 2023, and all applications will be thoroughly reviewed to ensure a fair selection process.
