The tournament was postponed indefinitely due to the sudden demise of the Kenya Volleyball Federation president Waithaka Kioni.
The semi-final and final matches of the men’s category in the Paul Bitok International Tournament are scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at the Nyayo Stadium.
The first semifinal game will be between Prisons Kenya and Trailblazers. Prisons Kenya head into the match psyched up and ready to maintain the winning streak. They proved their impeccable form after reigning supreme at the 6th leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s National League.

VOLLEYBALL Prisons, Pipeline learn date for highly-awaited Bitok tournament semi-finals
The event had been indefinitely postponed due to the sudden demise of KVF boss Waithaka Kioni.
Prisons won 3-1 over Kenya Forest Service and unfortunately faltered to lose 1-3 to Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). However, they bounced back to secure a dominant 3-0 win over Kenya Army.
On their part, Trailblazers have also been in great form and the youngsters will be hoping to silence their opponents and make it to the final. During the 6th leg of the league, they upset Prisons Rift Valley (3-2) and Kenya Army (3-1).
The second semifinal game will be between Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) and KPA. KDF head into the game after more than a week of inactivity since they were not in action during the 6th leg of the league. They face off against on-form KPA who also managed to maintain a hot streak in the league.
The winners of the two semifinal matches will head to the final which will be on the same day.
