This is an annual event aimed at helping top company heads network with each other as well as showcase their golfing skills.

Excitement was the mood that engulfed the Thika Greens Golf Resort on Saturday 29th July, where the Glenlivet CEO’s Golf Day attracted esteemed corporate managing directors from various industries.

Premium event makers Corporate Masters helped organize the event, which saw a lot of CEOs gather for a day of competitive golf and networking.

Other than being part of a top-notch setup for golfers, premium brands also got to engage with a rich audience of top-level managers, diplomats, and a representation of the political class.

Speaking in his speech during the launch of the event, the resort’s CEO Charles Kibiru said that the Charles Kibiru Invitational Golf Tournament would be made a formality in future.

“We shall one day have the “The Charles Kibiru invitational” here at Thika Greens in the future,” alluded Kibiru in his speech.

The title sponsor, The Glenlivet, set the tone with their finest single malt whisky, inviting participants to a pre-tournament tasting session, enhancing the golfer's spirits even before the first swing.

The Glenlivet showcased their passion for excellence, mirroring the same ethos displayed on the golf course throughout the day.

BMW and BMW Motorrad, both under Inchcape Kenya, added a touch of luxury and sportiness to the event, showcasing their top of the range cars and motorcycles, enticing the CEOs with their latest models.

Casa Capital, offered a hole in one at hole number five with a promise of a trip to Portugal for the lucky golfer. Shell Vivo, Chloride Exide, and Zydii are some of the other brands that graced the event.

Patrick Karanja won the CEO’s category with 36 stableford points, while the overall prize went to Ms. Anne Kanyori with 41 stableford points.

After the golfing, there was also room for an evening banquet to allow everyone involved at the event to celebrate.
