On Saturday, GSU will face off against Prisons Mombasa and round up the third leg on Sunday with a match against Prisons Central.
The third leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) men’s fixtures are out and defending champions General Service Unit (GSU) headline the field on Friday, March 10 with a clash against Kenya Forest Service (KFS).
GSU Captain Emmanuel Kogo is bullish about the team posting great results. Last season, the match against KFS was a highly contested one despite GSU winning all the sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-14).
Speaking on KTN, Kogo believes that with the training they have been undertaking, they are going to perform better than the previous encounter.
“We have really intensified our training and from the look of things, KFS are not going to win any set,” he said bullishly.
On Saturday, GSU will face-off with Prisons Mombasa and round up the third leg on Sunday with a match against Prisons Central.
Other matches on the cards on Friday include Prisons Kenya taking on Equity Bank as Trail Blazers clash with Vihiga in an outdoor game. At the same time, Rift Valley Prisons will battle it out with Kenya Defense Forces as Prisons Westerns clash with Kenya Army.
