VOLLEYBALL Kenya Pipeline name strong squad for Africa Volleyball Championships
Gitau has kept faith in the squad that has been playing in the local league.
Head coach Japheth Munala believes this year is also going to work out in their favour as they look to defend their title.
“We know what we are going to in Tunisia since we have been there before. I believe the pressure will not be that much for us. We are ready for the event and I’m expecting us to win,” he told KTN Sport.
During the national women’s league playoffs held earlier this year, KCB lost to Kenya Pipeline Company in the final.
Munala revealed that since the setback, they went back to the drawing board and have been working extra hard to avoid faltering in the continental event too.
“After that loss, we came together and intensified our preparations. The team is intact,” he said.
