Here is what the journey from Lagos to Chengdu looks like;

Lagos to Ethiopia

The journey was broken into two with the first step being from Lagos to Adisa Ababa in Ethiopia where there was a stopover.

From Lagos to Adisa Ababa, it was a 5-hour Journey. I left my house around 10 as my flight was scheduled for 13:40 by Ethiopian Airlines.

Onboarding to Ethiopia

Getting to the Muritala Muhammad Airport, I checked in and started to sort all the necessary things before onboarding, in the process of that I met team Nigeria (Tennis) that is going to Kigali for a competition.

Moments with Team Nigeria

I met the Nigerian National Tennis Team when they are departing for Kigali, Rwanda, to seek qualification from Africa Group IV at the Davis Cup team tournament.

The Davis Cup can be classified as a Tennis World Cup with countries across the globe will be competing in the championship.

I had a discussion with Uche Oparaoji, Peter Lawal, David, and Wilson Igbinovia as they share their expectations in Kigali with me, stay glued for the details later.

Still, on the Journey to Adisa Ababa, I boarded the flight Luckily, Peter Lawal was seated behind me and I sat down with Mr Godwin and Alhaja where we had beautiful moments together in the plane.

During the journey, food was served Rice and Fish with snacks to make the journey lively, I arrived at Adisa Ababa between 20:00 and 18:00 Nigerian time.

Stop Over in Adisa Ababa

Arriving in Adisa Ababa for the stopover was a joy to have short rest and do some other stuff, upon arriving I visited the mosque to perform Solat (Mogrib and Ishai) in Cursory (Prayer for travelers) after Solat I met the team that will be representing Argentina and Brazil for the Games.

Also during the stop over I met one of the selected young reporters from Argentina, Julieta.

We engaged each other and she revealed how She spent 20 hours from Argentina to Ethiopia and we still have another 10 hours journey to embark on.

While we are chatting and talking, we where informed about our onboarding to Chendgu.
