Daniil Medvedev triumphed over Jannik Sinner to win the Miami Open, his fourth title in 2023.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Jannik Sinner 7-5, 6-3 to claim the Miami Open title. It is his fourth title of the year and his fifth Masters 1000 title.

The Russian has been in incredible form since the Australian Open, winning in Rotterdam, Doha, and Dubai, losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells, and now winning in Miami. He has now won his 19th career title in 19 different cities - a remarkable feat.

“I want to congratulate Jannik. As we heard from the crowd, I think everyone enjoyed the semifinal against Carlos. It was amazing. I’m probably a little lucky bc I was already in bed, watching you run all over the place. Not easy to recover after such a match.”
