The National Olympic Committee of Kenya president Paul Tergat has called upon stakeholders to support athletes ahead of the Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Tergat said the global event only happens once in four years and it would be a great opportunity for stakeholders to chip in where they can and ensure that the athletes are highly motivated as they gear up to compete on the global stage.

From an athlete's perspective, Collins Injera has outlined that one of the best feelings is the excitement to be performing on such a big stage.
We want to be hands-on in everything that we are doing so that we can be able to send a very strong team. We are hoping to send the highest team, maybe 100 athletes who will represent the country.
We have also been working closely with Miramas training camp in the Southern part of France and we want to harmonise and put everything in place in terms of preparation for these games,” Tergat added.
