After the success of the Drake Diss, the NFL has announced that the New Orleans Super Bowl LIX halftime show will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar.

The NFL has revealed that Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar will be the main attraction for the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, which is scheduled for February 9, 2025, in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Lamar revealed the news on social media on Sunday, expressing his enthusiasm for the performance.

Following his appearance in Super Bowl LVI in 2022 with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige, this will be Lamar's second halftime show in the NFL.

Creative direction for the forthcoming show will come from Lamar's pgLang firm, which is well-known for its work on his "Big Steppers" tour.

With 17 Grammy Awards under his belt and a Pulitzer Prize for his album DAMN in 2017, Kendrick Lamar has made a name for himself as one of the most important voices in modern music.

This year, his song "Like That," which he just collaborated on with Future and Metro Boomin, topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. Earlier in the summer, his song "Not Like Us" also ranked at the top for two weeks.

Lamar's spat with Drake garnered media attention earlier in the year.

For weeks, the fight dominated conversations in the music industry and produced Lamar's most recent chart-topping single.
