The Cycling Federation of Nigeria (CFN) has revealed plans to organize the President Tinubu National Championship.
Former cyclist and CFN board member Femi Thomas hinted that the cycling tournament will be used to celebrate the 100 days in office of President Bola Tinubu, disclosing that the championship would highlight the numerous achievements of the president in sports when he was governor of Lagos State.
He added that the National Cycling Team is starting its preparations for the World Cycling Championship, which will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from August 3 to August 13.
He encouraged the government and corporate entities to assist the national team.
He said, “Team Nigeria has been in camp for over two months in Abuja and the federation is doing all within its power to ensure the country does well in Glasgow.

A new record is set as a new champion emerges at the National Cycling Road Championship in Port Harcourt.
