Nigeria is not doing enough to discover talents - Former Sports Commisioner

Oshodi is currently the vice chairman of the International Table Tennis Federation.

Nigeria fails to win Medal at the World University Games

Pulse Sports reported that team Nigeria didnt win any medal at the just concluded World university Games in China for the first time in the history of the Country.

The Games was held from July 28 to August 8 in Chengdu, China.

Nigeria competed for honors in seven games, including Track and Field, Swimming, Badminton, Judo, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, and Tennis.

The table tennis expert disclosed that the country is blessed with talents but no proper discovery measures to develop them.

He said, "From my personal kowledge, we have amazing talents but we are not enough in terms of discovery, we are not introducing them into proper sports early enough, man of our athletes dont see proper equipment until their 20s.
