The third leg of the 2023 NCBA Golf Series came to a thrilling conclusion on Saturday, April 22, with Abhishek Pandit emerging as the overall gross winner, earning a slot in the Grand Finale.
The event was held at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club, with over 150 golfers braving the cold weather to compete for slots to play at the Series’ Grand Finale later this year.

GOLF Peter Muchangi emerges victorius at the second leg of the NCBA Golf Series
The next leg of the NCBA Golf Series will be held at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 22.
In a highly competitive field, Pandit managed an impressive score of 79 gross as Avnish Bhandari took home the men's category title with 80 gross points on countback. Gary Zeller was the men's category runner-up, also with 80 gross points.
Phillus Kimbo emerged as the women's winner with 85 gross points, with Rahab Karoki as the runner-up with 99 gross points.
Meanwhile, Nathan Kania was the junior category winner with 104 gross points. In the Nines challenge, Sam Koda emerged as the star in the first nine with 41 gross points, while Alishan Merali was the back nine winner with 40 gross points.
Elsewhere, Akshay Chandaria emerged as the men's longest-drive challenge winner, while Rahab Karoki was the women's longest-drive challenge winner. Aly Popat was the nearest to the pin challenge winner, while Arnold Kipkoti won the staff category with 95 gross points.

The event will be hosted at the Vetlab Sports Club from Friday, April 13.
Speaking during the prize-giving ceremony, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said: “We believe that initiatives such as this help to promote talent and excellence, and we are committed to continuing our support for the golfing community in Kenya.”
The NCBA Golf Series is fully sponsored by NCBA Bank and features 16 senior qualifier events held across the East African region and a junior tournament that will be held at the Nyali Golf Club.
